The Cowes Week Regatta is based on the Isle of Wight and has been running since 1826. Today Cowes Week attracts over 1000 yachts and 8000 competitors
from all around the world.
Cowes Week racing takes place on the Solent, a challenging stretch of water, with strong tides and the changeable British summer weather ensuring
competitive yacht racing. Cowes Week comprises eight days of some of the closest, most competitive and outright hectic yacht racing seen anywhere. Cowes
week is fantastic! You will be racing alongside some of the world’s best sailors, and with the superb array of social events organised ashore, the Cowes
week experience is not to be missed.
Cowes Week program
Join our Great Escapes Yacht Charter team for Cowes Week. Join for the whole week or individual days. We specialise in taking mixed ability crews racing at
some of the best regattas in the world. Your professional team aboard Great Escape will ensure you have a memorable regatta.
Great Escape our Jeanneau 52.2 will be berthed in Shepards Wharf Marina for the regatta. Shoreside activities include a Nightclub and Evening Entertainment
at the beer tent. Shepards is restricted to competitors only, unlike Cowes Yacht Haven which is open to the general public.
Berthing aboard is available for up to 9 in shared double cabins, alternative accommodation ashore is organized for additional crew. We sail with a crew
of 14 and there are more than enough positions for all crew to be actively involved in racing the boat.
Cowes Week Team kit - Crew shirts are provided for all Cowes Week crew and we also provide branded GILL foulies for you to
wear during the regatta.

Racing in Black Group IRC Division with Race experienced Skipper and Mate
Use of foul weather gear

Price:
Whole Regatta - £1200 per person
Special Weekend Package - £430 for first Saturday and Sunday.
Single day racing Monday to Thursday £155 per person
Last Friday £220 per person. Stay Friday night for an extra £50 per person.
